Beth Beato, Administrative Coordinator

Beth has been with Washington University for over 25 years and joined the Hershey/Black lab in 2013. Beth is a wealth of information and can assist anyone in the lab from students to physicians on a wide variety of issues. Her bright personality will instantly make you feel welcome in the lab.

Emily Bihun, M.Ed.
Emily has a M.Ed. in Counseling and a B. A. in Psychology and has been working in the Hershey Lab since 2010. She is especially interested in the impact of modern day stressors on the health and well-being of children, somatic awareness approaches, and the parent-child relationship and the role it plays in symptomatology.

Tasha Doty, MA, Professional Rater III
Departments of Psychiatry and Occupational Therapy Tasha received her Master’s degree in cognitive psychology in 2009 from the University of Kansas. She has worked in the Hershey Lab since 2011. She mainly works on coordinating research studies, cognitive testing, and managing research study data. Tasha enjoys coffee, cats, and traveling.

jonathan

Jonathan Koller
Jon has a B.S. in both biomedical engineering and electrical engineering. He has worked in the NIL for 15 years. During that time, he has processed quite a lot of neuroimaging data.

heather

Heather Lugar, MA
Heather has been a statistical data analyst in the Hershey Lab since 2008. Her primary responsibilities include neuroimaging data acquisition and analysis, and its oversight.

samantha

Samantha Ranck, MSW, Research Coordinator
Samantha has a MSW in Social Work and Family Therapy and a B.S. in Elementary Education. Samantha has worked in the Dept. of Psychiatry for 13 years. Seven of those years were in Child Psychiatry. She is currently responsible for regulatory paperwork, study implementation and coordination as well as recruitment, scheduling and data collection. Samantha enjoys baking, kayaking and working as a professional make-up artist in her spare time.

Anagha Narayanan, B.A.
Anagha Narayanan is a Washington University in St. Louis alum with a B.A in Biology and the Classics. While she was an undergrad, she worked on the Wolfram Syndrome project with audiology and ophthalmology data. Now she's a staff member helping to manage study data while she works towards medical school and a future career in pediatrics. When not working or going to school, she enjoys reading, hiking, and playing the piano!

jerrel

Jerrel Rutlin
Jerrel is a Statistical Data Analyst in the Hershey Lab. After years of working in small animal research, he joined the Hershey Lab in the summer of 2010. Within the lab, Jerrel primarily works on data analysis and technical assistance for Dr. Hershey and Dr. Shimony. When not in the lab, Jerrel enjoys research, sports, and spending time with his family.
